WWE Raw 7/27/26 Review: Bad Concert, Russo Pole Match and an Odd Title Change

Monday night's Summerslam go-home WWE Raw was flat-out awful—just the same old tired loops with Roman and Seth and Punk and Cody.

But the real crime was how they dragged down the rest of the card with some truly baffling, Vince Russo-esque garbage.

Check out my thoughts and latest podcast on the page.

WWE Raw July 27, 2026 Thoughts

The Concert Catastrophe: Danhausen and Joe Hendry’s musical segment was painful to sit through. It featured a song called "I Believe That You Are Cursed" complete with Minihausens, before WBC Welterweight Champion Ryan Garcia randomly hit the ring to sing along and guitar-shot Hendry in the back to assist Judgment Day. Just random, overproduced car-crash television.

Questionable Booking Decisions: An odd, unannounced title change saw Raquel beat Sol Ruca with zero immediate clarity on where it leaves the division. Meanwhile, Je'Von Evans picking up a win over Rusev was fine, but Ethan Page going over a living legend like Rey Mysterio felt completely ice-cold.

Stretching the Stipulations: To cap it all off, we're apparently getting a "Monies on a Pole" match between Danhausen and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam—because nothing screams premium live event like leaning all the way into the worst tropes of the past.
