WWE Releases – April 24, 2026: Wyatt Sicks Hit Hard in Post-Mania Cuts

Another day, another round of WWE talent departures. Just weeks after WrestleMania, the company is doing its annual spring cleaning, and today’s cuts include some recognizable names who’ve been part of key storylines.

Confirmed Releases Today (4/24/26):

  • Nikki Cross – Longtime WWE veteran and current member of The Wyatt Sicks. Nikki has been with the company for roughly a decade and brought chaos and heart to every role she played.

  • Joe Gacy – Another Wyatt Sicks member, known for his creepy cult leader vibes from NXT’s Schism days.

  • Zoey Stark – Athletic standout who recently ran with the Pure Fusion Collective alongside Shayna Baszler.

  • Alba Fyre – Former NXT UK Women’s Champion with a strong in-ring resume.

  • Bo Dallas / Uncle Howdy – Leader of The Wyatt Sicks and brother of the late Bray Wyatt.

  • Andre Chase – Founder and leader of Chase University in NXT.

  • Dexter Lumis – The silent, tattooed, horror-style enforcer of The Wyatt Sicks.

  • Erick Rowan – The massive, masked powerhouse and final piece of The Wyatts.

  • Dante Chen – WWE’s first Singapore-born superstar and longtime NXT/Evolve standout.

*UPDATED

The biggest storyline impact here is The Wyatt Sicks taking multiple hits.

With Nikki and Joe gone, the group looks effectively dismantled for now. It’s a rough blow for fans who were invested in the supernatural faction.

These moves feel like classic post-Mania roster trimming — making space for fresh call-ups from NXT and tightening the budget after a big event cycle.

While some of these were likely contract expirations rather than cold releases, it doesn’t make it sting any less for the performers.

What’s Next for Them?

All four have real talent and should land on their feet:

  • Nikki Cross has the personality and experience to thrive in AEW, TNA, or even a strong indie run.

  • Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre are excellent in the ring and could be immediate additions anywhere.

  • Joe Gacy brings unique character work that promotions love.

WWE has been relatively quiet on further cuts today, but the rumor mill is still spinning.

We’ll keep this post updated if more names surface before or during tonight’s SmackDown.

It’s always tough seeing people lose their spots, especially names who gave everything on the road and in developmental.

Wishing all of them the best moving forward — wrestling is better when talent like this gets to keep working.
