GCW & Janela Booked Sabu to Take Insane Bumps in Final Match

Terrance Michael Brunk, fondly remembered by his ring name Sabu, sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 60. His cause of his death remains unknown. Leaving many of us in shock and sorrow.

Just weeks ago, he participated in his final match. Sabu faced AEW Star Megan Bayne's boyfriend, Joey Janela. In an event organized by GameChanger Wrestling (GCW). The legend took some nasty and very unnecessary bumps.

When I heard about the death of one of my all-time favorites, his final match quickly popped into my head. Why was sabu taking nasty bumps at age 60 in a retirement match?! Because that's the only way Joey Janela can look good?

Those bumps are for 20-year-olds looking to make a name, not legends. Legends are stuck taking those bumps, so "promoters" like Joey can make a few more bucks. Sabu getting stuck in barbed wire and crashing onto the concrete floor?! These are "highlights" from this "pro wrestling event". The ONLY "highlights" I've seen from Janela's Spring Break 2025.

Sabu was known for his trademark style of hardcore wrestling. Which he pioneered in his time with ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) from 1993 to 2000. His innovative techniques and fearless approach to in-ring combat set a new standard in professional wrestling. Sabu’s matches often featured an array of unconventional weapons and high-risk maneuvers. Establishing him as a fan favorite and an iconic figure in the wrestling community.
