AEW Shakes Up the Fall Schedule; All Out Heading Back to the Windy City + A Historic First

An promotional poster with a dynamic red star over a stylized Chicago cityscape background features a large, distressed white title "ALL OUT" in the center with a smaller "AEW" logo above it.

Tony Khan and All Elite Wrestling just dropped a pair of massive scheduling announcements that are going to fundamentally shift how the back half of the 2026 calendar looks.

If you are a fan of wrestling in the Midwest, you’re about to get spoiled. Here is the quick breakdown of the breaking news.

AEW All Out 2026 Locked In for Chicago

First up, the official date and location for AEW All Out 2026 are set. AEW is bringing one of its signature pay-per-views back home to the Windy City.

  • The Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026

  • The Venue: NOW Arena in Chicago, IL

  • Tickets Go On Sale: Monday, July 13, at 11:00 AM ET / 10:00 AM CT via Ticketmaster

By moving the event deeper into September (bypassing the traditional Labor Day weekend slot), AEW gives itself a healthy four-week runway to build storylines coming out of August's massive All In London at Wembley Stadium.

A Historic First: The Chicago Residency Announced!

But that's not all. In an unprecedented move for the promotion, AEW also announced an exclusive, multi-week residency at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.

For the first time in history, AEW will anchor its flagship broadcasts (AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision) out of a single iconic Chicago venue for a consecutive run of live TV. This residency is set to establish a wild, intimate, high-energy environment for the brand as they build toward the All Out pay-per-view.

The Bottom Line

Tony Khan is doubling down on AEW’s strongest market. Between a multi-week residency at the Aragon Ballroom and booking the NOW Arena for All Out, Chicago is officially the undisputed capital of the AEW landscape for the late summer and fall.
