Dark Side of the Ring Season 7 is Coming in HOT – 3-Part TNA Deep Dive That’s Gonna Be Wild!
Wrestling fans, buckle up – Dark Side of the Ring is returning with its biggest season yet, and it’s kicking things off with something absolutely massive: a three-part special on TNA Wrestling, told through the eyes of the man who helped build it… Jeff Jarrett himself.
The official Season 7 trailer just dropped, and it’s already got the wrestling internet buzzing. If you’ve ever wanted the unfiltered, behind-the-curtain story of TNA’s wild rise, the backstage chaos, the power struggles, and everything in between, this is it.
Jarrett opens up in a way we’ve never quite seen, and the trailer teases lines like “Jeff had all the backstabbers backstabbing the backstabbers” and “Somebody’s going to die tonight.”
Yeah… it’s gonna be that kind of series.
What We Know So Far:
3-Part TNA Epic: The season premiere is a deep, multi-hour exploration of TNA’s history, controversies, and legacy. Expect interviews with key players (including voices like Jim Cornette, Scott Steiner, Eddie Kingston, and even Tony Khan popping up).
Premiere Date: Tuesday, July 7 at 9:00 PM ET on VICE TV (with the TNA parts likely spanning the early episodes).
Rest of the Season: After the TNA trilogy, we’re getting episodes on Paul Orndorff, The Big Boss Man, one-legged wrestler Zach Gowen, and a brutal breakdown of the infamous Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher match.
This feels like the perfect time for a full TNA retrospective.
The company has had incredible highs (that early X-Division era, the stars it created, the innovation), massive drama (ownership changes, financial issues, backstage politics), and plenty of “you can’t make this up” moments.
Jarrett’s perspective as co-founder should add some real fire – especially with how open Dark Side tends to be. If the trailer is any indication, we’re in for raw stories, shocking revelations, and that signature shadowy reenactment style that makes the series so addictive.
I’m personally hyped to hear more about the “reign of terror” vibes and the real story behind TNA’s peaks and valleys.
Mark your calendars – July 7 is about to deliver wrestling documentary gold. Who else is counting down the days?
