Why Is the CEO of 2K Living His Best Wrestling Life in WWE 2K26?

Strauss Zelnick WWE2k26

I had to double-take when this clip hit my timeline. Some dude in a shiny blue suit struts out to Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”, does the full arrogant CEO walk down the ramp, poses in the ring like he just bought the company (wait… he kinda did), and the crowd is eating it up.

Sounds like a normal custom CAW, right? Nope. That’s Strauss Zelnick — the actual 68-year-old Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive (the company that owns 2K and makes WWE 2K).

They gave the big boss:

  • A full custom entrance

  • His own theme song

  • Signature arrogant strut

  • And here’s the best part… you can’t use “My Way” for any other created superstar. It’s locked to him only.

Bro really said “make me a playable character and make it expensive.”

For context: Strauss Zelnick has been running Take-Two for over 15 years. He’s the suit behind GTA, NBA 2K, and now he’s living out his wrestling fantasy in the game his company publishes.

The internet is having a field day calling it the ultimate self-insert. Some are dying laughing, others are like “this is why we don’t have more CAW slots or better animations.”

Either way… respect the hustle? Or at least the confidence. At 68 years old the man is out here doing what half the wrestling Twitter would do if they had unlimited dev access.

Corporate ego has never looked this entertaining.
