GCW Bash at the Ballpark 2 Preview: Stars, Stripes, and Slams
Independence Day is about three things: hot dogs, massive fireworks, and chaotic independent wrestling on the historic Coney Island boardwalk. Tomorrow night, Game Changer Wrestling returns to Maimonides Park for Bash at the Ballpark 2, streaming live worldwide on TrillerTV at 6:00 PM EST.
If the hard-hitting action isn’t enough to get you to the beach, the show will be capped off by a massive, post-show 4th of July fireworks extravaganza over the ballpark.
Here is a look at the absolutely stacked card dropping tomorrow night, along with my predictions.
The Main Attractions
JCW Championship Match: Charles Mason (c) vs. Cheeseburger
The ultimate good vs. evil scenario just got a lot more interesting. The utterly sadistic JCW Champion, Charles Mason, puts his title on the line against one of independent wrestling's most beloved and resilient underdogs.
Mason loves nothing more than torturing his opponents, but if Cheeseburger can weather the psychological storm, we could be looking at a massive holiday upset on the boardwalk.
Nick Gage vs. Joey Janela
A match that needs no introduction. When the "King of Ultraviolent Wrestling" meets "The Bad Boy," pure, unfiltered anarchy is guaranteed.
These two cornerstones of GCW have years of violent history together, and there is no better backdrop than Coney Island to watch them tear each other apart. Expect the crowd to be unhinged for this one.
Tag Team: The Cowboy Way vs. Jonathan Gresham & Sauce Williams
A massive tag team clash contrasting starkly different styles. The hard-nosed grit of The Cowboy Way goes head-to-head with the legendary, world-class technical wizardry of Jonathan Gresham and the explosive athleticism of Sauce Williams.
This has absolute "match of the night" potential written all over it.
Megan Bayne vs. Vipress
"The Megasus" Megan Bayne has been on a dominant tear, bringing unmatched powerhouse strength wherever she steps. But Vipress is as cunning and dangerous as they come.
Can Vipress slow down the unstoppable force that is Bayne, or will she just become another victim of the Megasus's path of destruction?
