NXT Call-Ups, Tag Champions Return: Very Strong Raw After Mania

NXT Call-Ups, Tag Champions Return & A Strong Raw After Mania

WWE Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania always hits different, and tonight’s episode (April 20, 2026) was no exception. It flew by, delivered some big moments, and left me feeling pretty damn good overall.

Sol Ruca finally gets the main roster call-up — and man, I’m really happy about this one. She’s one of my favorites. The girl is so damn good — athletic as hell, charismatic, and ready for the spotlight. Seeing her make the jump felt earned.

Even better? Zaria showed up right behind her. That storyline from NXT carried straight over, and they kept the tension going strong for tomorrow night on NXT. Love when they don’t just drop the ball on these call-up angles.

Liv Morgan cut an awesome promo that led directly into her match, and she retained the title with a lot of help.

Solid stuff — she’s been on fire lately. On the men’s side, Ethan Page got the call-up to the main roster.

Not gonna lie — I’m not the biggest Ethan Page fan unless Josh Alexander is right there next to him. But I’ll give him a fair chance on Raw and see what he can do.

The show closed strong: Bron Breakker destroying Seth Rollins at the end was a hell of a visual, and The Street Profits returned to make their presence felt.

Really good ending that popped the crowd and sent everyone home happy.

Overall Grade: 9.2

Like most WWE shows these days, it could’ve used a little more actual wrestling in the middle. But the pacing was on point and the big moments landed.

I don’t think this “more segments, less matches” trend is changing anytime soon under TKO, so I’ll ride with it.

When the call-ups and returns hit this well, it makes up for a lot.

*Update: OK, I legit thought the show ended at that point. Could I edit this and add more? Sure, but I’m going to own the L.
