TNA iMPACT Recap: February 5, 2026 – Solid Show with Some Wild Twists!
Last night's TNA iMPACT on AMC delivered a fun, story-driven episode building toward No Surrender (Feb 13). Some matches popped, some angles felt odd, but overall it kept me hooked.
Here's my take on the highlights (and lowlights).
The Opener: Trey Miguel vs. Adam Brooks
Instant Banger! What a way to kick things off! Trey Miguel got the win with his signature Poisonrana → Scorpion Kick → Lightning Spiral combo, but Adam Brooks looked fantastic.
I vaguely remembered the name from indies, but this guy showed up looking sharp, confident, and ready for a push. They went 50/50 in terms of offense, and Brooks pushed Trey hard.
Guessing he's signed (or at least getting a real run) because that wasn't a squash. Hope TNA keeps him around—he could be a great X-Division addition.
Post-match, Stacks jumped Trey with the International Title belt (setting up their No Surrender match), and Arianna Grace looked pissed about it.
Righteous & Hardys – Odd, But It's Working
Vincent & Dutch dominated Tommy Two Scoops & TW3 quickly, then kept pushing that alliance with the Hardys. It's going to be weird seeing Matt & Jeff teaming with these dark, culty dudes, but it's perfect for this whole vibe.
Now they're officially stuck together at No Surrender in an 8-man tag against Order 4. Could be chaotic fun. The Hardys are legends, and The Righteous add that edge—I'm intrigued.
Jada Steals the Night: Elijah & Stone vs. Mustafa Ali & Tasha Steelz Mixed Tag
Jada Stone absolutely lit it up in what felt like her big debut spotlight. She looked crisp, athletic, and confident—even in the loss (Steelz got the pin after some Order 4 interference).
Not sure how she could've looked better. Elijah held his own too, but Jada was the standout. Great mixed tag energy, and this feud with Order 4 keeps rolling.
Knockouts Action & No Surrender Announcements
Big segment from Director of Operations Daria Rae (with some Santino help) announcing matches for No Surrender:
Knockouts World Title: Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Arianna Grace (Grace basically guilted her dad Santino into it—classic)
International Title: Stacks (c) vs. Trey Miguel
8-Man Tag: Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Vincent & Dutch vs. Order 4
Tag Team: Mike Santana & Leon Slater vs. Nic Nemeth & Eddie Edwards
Lei Ying Lee teamed with Indi Hartwell & Xia Brookside to beat The Elegance Brand in a six-woman tag.
Ash by Elegance made her in-ring return post-injury angle—cool to see her back. But man, I hated seeing champ Lei Ying Lee basically play second fiddle to Indi tonight.
She's the damn Knockouts champ—give her the spotlight!
Other Quick Hits
Tessa Blanchard got a win over Rachel Ley. Solid, but she's still floating—not near the world title picture where she belongs.
Elegance Brand (Ash, Heather, M) had those awesome Breaking Bad-inspired yellow lab coats and the "EB" logo parodying the BB one. As a huge Breaking Bad fan, that was awesome.
Ryan vs. Mara stuff (or whatever that budding feud/angle is) actually got fun tonight. Made more sense, and I think they end up together somehow, seems like the oddly logical ending.
Steve Maclin promo felt like a goodbye, then he attacked Mike Santana. The System jumped in, but Moose returned to clear house and take out The System.
Mixed feelings here!
Moose is a beast, but The System 2.0 is so new and should be dominating, not getting punked out already.
If Maclin's "firing" was a work, cool; if not, it's pointless (same as the Deaner stuff before—stop with the fake firings).
EY (Eric Young) vs. BDE potential feud
Could be a great veteran vs. youngster feud, or maybe they actually align together? I think the latter would be more interesting and likely better long term for BDE, with him learning the ropes and sharpening his craft under EY’s guidance.
We should find out next week.
