The Future of AEW: Top 5 PPVs We Need in 2027
AEW Resurgence (January 2027): Kicking off the year with a major brand-new event could set a fresh tone for the roster. Resurgence isn't just a show; it’s a reset button that would inject new energy into the promotion right out of the gate.
AEW Holiday Hell: December is the perfect time for a high-intensity, "no holds barred" style event. Holiday Hell would be the massive, chaotic year-end finale that gives fans the high-stakes blow-offs they crave before the new year.
AEW Grand Square: A "grand stage" style event designed to be the spectacle of the year. This would be the premier destination for massive, arena-shattering main events that deserve a stage bigger than any other on the calendar.
AEW King of Kings: Every era needs a tournament to crown a dominant force. King of Kings would be the ultimate test of endurance, determining who truly holds the throne at the top of the AEW mountain in 2027.
AEW Supershow: With so much talent currently on the roster, one Supershow isn't enough. Making this a marquee PPV destination would ensure that AEW delivers the kind of dream-match lineups that only the biggest platform can host.
