WWE EVOLVE Results (7/1): The Mog Squad Dominates, Harlem Lewis Unleashes Chaos
The future of WWE continues to take shape on Tubi, and last night’s episode of WWE EVOLVE from the Performance Center delivered massive fallout from Succession III.
With guest General Manager KevOnStage running the show, the undercard and tag divisions saw some serious statements made.
Here’s the breakdown of last night’s matchups from the action, along with a handful of standout social media highlights and quick reactions.
Layla Diggs Steals the Opener
The night kicked off in the women's division as Layla Diggs took on Gianna Capri. Diggs continues to be one of the most buzzed-about names on social media, and she showed exactly why here.
Despite some ringside distractions from Anya Rune, Diggs kept her focus and hit her signature moonsault to secure a decisive pinfall victory.
Harlem Lewis and Braxton Cole Tear the House Down
Things boiled over immediately after the opener. A furious Braxton Cole hit the ring, irate that his scheduled match had been turned into a No-Disqualification fight. Before he could finish complaining, Harlem Lewis blindsided him to get the chaos underway.
What followed was a brutal, weapon-filled war that saw canes, belts, and pool sticks utilized across the Performance Center. Lewis ultimately outlasted Cole, picking up a massive win. The night got even bigger for Lewis afterward when Aaron Rourke emerged to lay down a future EVOLVE Championship match challenge.
Cutler James Makes Short Work of It's GAL
The issues between It's GAL and guest General Manager KevOnStage came to a head last night. After It's GAL interrupted guest GM KevOnStage and a promo from Kale Dixon earlier in the show, he found himself booked into a rematch against the dangerous Cutler James.
James didn't waste any time showing why he's a name to watch, shutting down It's GAL’s momentum and securing a decisive pinfall victory in just under five minutes.
The Mog Squad Outlasts ID 1.0 in Six-Man Elimination Chaos
This was a breakdown style fight from the opening bell, lasting over twelve minutes as both teams traded heavy shots and eliminations. Ultimately, the numbers and the cagey teamwork of The Mog Squad proved to be too much.
They walked away with a massive victory to keep their momentum rolling into the summer.
