WWE Announces Huge World Cup Viewing Party Following SmackDown at The O2
Talk about an absolute massive double-header for fans in London.
WWE UK dropped a major announcement today that turns the upcoming June 23rd SmackDown taping at The O2 into a historic cross-sport event.
Fans attending the show will be able to stay in their seats after the final bell rings for an Official FIFA World Cup ’26™ Viewing Party, courtesy of Budweiser.
The big-screen bonus feature? A massive group-stage clash between England and Ghana.
Epic Crossover
With the doors opening early at 4:30 PM for SmackDown, the live football viewing is scheduled to kick off shortly before 9:00 PM. WWE will be broadcasting the full game live directly onto the arena's giant overhead screens, allowing the live crowd to transition straight from the squared circle to the pitch without leaving the building.
It is a brilliant promotional crossover, capitalizing perfectly on the high-stakes summer football fever sweeping across the UK while giving the local crowd an unforgettable live atmosphere for the national team.
As of this writing, tickets are still available via WWE's official channels, but expect the remaining seats to move fast with the football crowd eyeing this unique double-bill.
